Parque da Floresta is located near the south-western tip of Portugal.
The course was designed by Pepe Gancedo who is a former Spanish amateur champion. He also designed the well-known Torrequebrada course near Malaga.
The course is quite challenging, but it does attract golfers to return to try to master the holes.
One of the attractions of this course is the variety of holes.
The current owners have made continuous course improvements since they acquired it in 1993.

The course is just over 1 Km west of the village of Budens, 16 km west of
Lagos; signposted on the right of the EN125 main road.
